Word on the street with Heidi Jones

With so many things to do in Amsterdam, squeezing it all into one trip can be a little tricky. That's why we tapped our friend and photographer Heidi Jones during her recent stay at Sir Albert to share her tips for taking on the city this spring.

Think local coffee spots, a beautiful concept store in a canal house, and corner galleries that captured the photographer's eye. Plus, get 30% long city stays (Amterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, & Prague) by joining Sircle Club.

Amsterdam Canals

Favorite neighborhood? "De Pijp, where Sir Albert is located. Easy to get around and so many cute restaurants and shops to...shop!"

Best restaurants? "I have two: for breakfast and lunch I would have to say Oficina, it's so beautiful in there and the food is so good. And for dinner, it would have to be Cafe Amsterdam, the food, the architecture, the building, it's all gorgeous – and it's only a 15-minute bike ride from Sir Albert."

Favorite place to shop? "Carmen, they stock so many beautiful brands from your everyday essentials to more staple outerwear and they also have a cafe in the back."
